FILM SUBMISSIONS

Selected Feature, Short and Smartphone movies will be shown in a network of subterranean pop-up cinemas in the heart of Sighisoara’s medieval citadel.
Submissions are now being accepted for the following categories: Feature Films; Short Films; Mobisodes.
It goes without saying that all films must be Vampire-themed.

Awards & Prizes

VAMPIRE FEATURE FILMS
  • Films chosen for screening at IVFAF will receive two Delegate Passes and will qualify for the IVFAF Golden Stake Awards (Features) voted for by a panel of judges.

VAMPIRE SHORT FILMS
  • Films chosen for screening at IVFAF will receive two Delegate Passes and will qualify for the IVFAF Golden Stake Awards (Shorts) voted for by a panel of judges.

VAMPIRE MOBISODES (Shot on a mobile device)
  • Films chosen for screening at IVFAF will receive one Delegate Pass and will qualify for the IVFAF Golden Stake Awards (Mobisode) voted for by a panel of judges.

ALL FILMS MUST BE VAMPIRE-THEMED.

FEATURE FILMS
  • Content – dramatic, documentary or experimental.
  • Films can be any subgenre of vampire cinema, drama or documentary.
  • Release date no earlier than 1 May 2015.
  • Running time over 30 minutes.

SHORT FILMS
  • Content – dramatic, documentary or experimental.
  • Films can be any subgenre of vampire cinema, drama or documentary.
  • Release date no earlier than 1 May 2015.
  • Running time to be under 30 minutes.

MOBISODE (Shot on mobile device)
  • Content – dramatic, documentary or experimental.
  • Films can be any subgenre of vampire cinema, drama or documentary.
  • Release date no earlier than 1 May 2015.
  • Running time between 30 seconds and 15 minutes.
